ICM Travel Grant

The International Congress of Mathematicians will be held in Philadelphia from July 23 to 30, 2026. The Foundation aims to support Hungarian mathematicians, as well as those employed at Hungarian institutions, who wish to attend but do not have access to other funding sources. Applicants can apply for a one-time, unrestricted grant of up to 1 million HUF, or up to 1.5 million HUF for those also attending a satellite conference. Preference will be given to applicants who can cover part of their expenses from personal funds or other grants.

Applications should be submitted via email to alapitvany@lovaszalapitvany.hu and must include a preliminary estimated budget with justification (indicating any additional funding sources) and a professional CV. After the event, recipients will be required to submit a brief report and provide invoices for major expenses (travel, accommodation, registration fee).
